ROBIN PEPPE STERNECK - FOUNDER

Robin Sterneck is a seasoned executive and board director who brings 35 years of business and leadership experience to her keynotes, workshops, roundtables, best practice coaching sessions, corporate training and real-life story telling.    

Robin’s work as a Senior Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers, and her in Financial Services at GE and Swiss Re, arm her with a broad breadth of first-hand experience and strategies. As the Global Marketing Director and then $1B P&L Leader at GE Insurance, and then Head of Talent Development and KC Site Leader after Swiss Re’s acquisition, Robin has always lived by the adage that “People make the numbers”.  Today she enables others via Highland Birch Group, a leadership consulting firm, and as President of a family owned wealth management business.         

Robin also currently serves as an independent director and Compensation and Human Capital Chairperson for the Board of EPR Properties (“EPR”), a publicly traded REIT and as a Director for SurveySaurus, a technology firm that is bringing culture insights to life. She is a founding member of the Kansas City Chapter of Women Corporate Directors (“WCD”) and a Director on the National Association of Corporate Directors (“NACD”) Heartland Chapter Board. As the co-facilitator of the year-long Emerging Leaders Program at the Central Exchange, a leading professional women’s organization, she has helped advance the careers of more than 600 high potential leaders. Robin’s recent community leadership roles include the Pembroke Hill School Board, Fund Raising and Leadership Development Vice Chair roles for the J Community Center, Board and Audit Committee member for the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and Chair of WIN for KC, a division of the KC Sports Commission.           

Robin’s ongoing work with more than 100 companies and not-for-profit organizations annually enables her to simultaneously share time-tested and fresh perspectives to emerging and seasoned leaders in both high performing and transitional organizational cultures. As a business president, co-founder of two major networks, a global talent developer and a mentor to scores of professionals, she uniquely brings macro- and micro-perspectives for advancing leaders.
